Pi Kappa Phi has a longstanding tradition of academic excellence, and Omicron is no different. Over the years we have been recognized for scholarship, GPA, and individual scholastic achievements. Especially recently, the active chapter has made a push to bring back that tradition. In the past year we have raised our overall GPA from a 2.7 to a boastful 2.94. We have members in both Cardinal and Golden Key, Honors Societies made up of only the best students on campus. Many of our men are members of other prestiges Honors Societies on campus as well. 2015-10-08 16.50.23

Our Pledge Process also focuses heavily on the Associate Members scholarship and participation on campus. The Associate Members participate in mandatory study hall from Sunday through Wednesday. We also pride ourselves in the interaction between the Associate Members and Active and Alumni of Pi Kappa Phi. The new members interact with Active brothers and Alumni learning about their campus involvement and ways to get involved in the future.

As great as all of this sounds, and it is great, we cannot become complacent. The active members along with the alumni are continuing to strive to be better. The brothers that make up the Scholarship Committee are diligently working to improve the academic standings of the fraternity. Led by Elliot Rowe, the brothers on the scholarship Committee are always looking for new and better ways to strive to obtain the highest possible standard of scholarship, so if you have any suggestions, comments, or want to know more about the process feel free to contact us; we would love to hear from you.

Feel free to contact Elliot Rowe at or our scholarship chair John Morgan at

"I would ask a Brother to please contribute toward what we are trying to achieve. We are on pace to reach our goal, but we cannot do it without more support. Everybody can give something. It is wrong to think that any amount isn’t important or enough."
